Built for Soft Sand

The foundation of this kit is designed specifically with beach and fishing adventures in mind. The included 11.8″ low-PSI balloon beach tires provide a wide footprint that helps your custom wagon travel across soft sand without the struggle associated with traditional narrow tires.

The balloon tires feature solid polypropylene hubs with no bearings, eliminating concerns about sand getting into and binding up wheel bearings. That makes them an excellent choice for beach environments where sand, salt, and moisture are unavoidable.

Optional Turf Tire Upgrade

Want to use your custom wagon away from the beach? Choose the 13″ large-tread turf tires as an upgrade for greater versatility on grass and other non-sand surfaces.

This gives you the flexibility to build a wagon that can serve multiple purposes throughout the year.

Heavy-Duty Aluminum Undercarriages

The kit includes two heavy-duty aluminum undercarriages, each measuring 26″ wide and fabricated from 4″ x 3/16″ aluminum plate.

Both undercarriages feature pre-drilled mounting holes to make attaching them to your custom wagon bed or deck easier. The front undercarriage includes a complete wagon turning assembly with pre-assembled 3/4″ solid aluminum axles, providing the steering foundation for your custom build.

The rear undercarriage features axle tubing welded directly to the undercarriage along with a 3/4″ aluminum axle.

The result is a strong, lightweight, rust-resistant foundation ready for you to add the wagon bed or deck of your choice.

Comfortable Aluminum Pull Handle

The kit includes a 36″ aluminum “T” pull handle designed for comfortable and convenient operation.

The handle is constructed from 1″ x 1/8″ commercial-grade square aluminum tubing and features a 1″ round aluminum grip with comfortable foam grips.

A slight bend at the bottom of the handle allows it to rest against the wagon bed when released instead of falling flat onto the ground where it can become a tripping hazard.

Stainless-Steel Hardware Included

You won’t have to hunt for the essential mounting hardware. The DIY Beach Wagon Starter Kit includes the stainless-steel hardware needed to assemble the major components of your wagon.

Included hardware consists of:

• 1 1/4″ x 2″ hex-head cap screw with washers and nylon insert lock nut for handle attachment
• 4 3/4″ flat washers for the tires
• 4 quick-release stainless-steel lynch pins for securing the tires
• 8 3/8″ x 1″ button-head cap screws
• 8 3/8″ washers
• 8 3/8″ nylon insert lock nuts for mounting the undercarriages

The use of stainless-steel hardware provides excellent durability for demanding outdoor and beach environments.
