The Sidekick is the only wagon choice for all serious anglers! Featuring commercial grade all aluminum welded fabrication and stainless-steel hardware, this wagon was built to last season after season. The Sidekick comes standard with a grand total of TEN-rod holders. Two upright rod holders are affixed to both the front and the rear of the wagon and three angled rod holders are welded directly to both sides of the wagon. Angled rod holders eliminate the risk of damaging fishing rods when hauling your wagon under any covered walkways or entryways. Rod holders are 2” round aluminum tubes, nine inches long, and have welded pins in the base of each holder. Can also be used for various accessories such as chair holders, cutting boards, table tops, umbrellas, etc. The solid aluminum wagon bed is 20” x 36” with corner drain holes and a 2” perimeter lip. The wagon deck stands 15” from the ground on reinforced aluminum undercarriages. The Sidekick is outfitted with four 11.8” balloon sand tires designed specifically to roll over soft sandy terrains. The overall outside width is only 28.5”, enabling the wagon to glide through all standard gates and doorways with ease. The pull handle was ergonomically designed and outfitted with comfort-foam hand grips. The base of the pull handle is curved to maintain an upright position while not in use. The turning mechanism allows the handle to rotate a full 360 degrees for ease of maneuverability as well as compact storage. Weighs 47 lbs. with a 350 lb. load capacity. I am very happy with my Sidekick fishing cart. It’s light and well constructed aluminum. I love that the steering handle is detachable. The balloon tires makes it very easy to pull on flat surfaces. I try to pull the cart on flat sand as close to the water as possible. It rolls much better than my previous cart with only 7 inch balloon tires. I have gotten many comments about the cart in a very short time that I have owned it.
My only negative is that I wish it was available a little wider and longer.
I sent a picture of my newly assembled wagon to a friend of mine. My friend bought another brand of wagon a week before. My friend has wagon envy…..
